Our greatest asset is our people
Many professional accountants are aware of tax legislation but few understand the full complexities of the system. A Chartered Tax Adviser, or CTA, is a tax specialist who has passed the entry examination of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, widely regarded as one of the most demanding of the professional examinations. Intimate knowledge of the tax legislation means a CTA can offer specialist tailored advice on your every requirement – from identifying the correct structure to start a business though to its ultimate sale.
Anyone can call themselves an accountant but to be a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (an ACA or FCA) each member must pass a comprehensive entry exam in topics including financial and management accounting, audit, company law, tax, IT and business development. Once qualified an ACA must adhere to continuing their professional training which is monitored annually by the Institute.
