Andrew has been working in tax for over 40 years, serving with HMRC as a District Inspector and subsequently with what was then the Solihull Special Office. In 1984 he joined Neville Russell where after a short period became a Tax Partner and gained reputation as a speaker and writer who could explain complex tax issues in a straightforward manner. Andrew joined Mercia in 2003 where he quickly became known as a leading tax lecturer. One of Andrew’s many areas of expertise is in personal tax issues; one of his favorite topics being Inheritance Tax and Trusts, on which he is speaking to the Branch.
