What to do if am affected?
If you are one of the affected business it is important you register with HM Revenue & Customs online filing website as soon as possible and familiarise yourself with the online system before your first VAT return is due. This is a major change in the administration of VAT and we do expect to see problems nearer the deadline as businesses rush to register.
